Spring-Ford Online is sponsoring the second annual Holiday Lights Contest.

The contest is open to residences within the Spring-Ford School District – Royersford and Spring City boroughs and Limerick and Upper Providence townships. The contest starts today and continues until the end of December. The winner will be announced on our website on New Year’s Day.

Last year’s winners were Paul and Dana Luteman, 645 Old State Road, Upper Providence. The home featured a variety of large inflatables, light sculptures of all sizes, even on the roof, tiny snowmen and Santas, lighted candy canes, palm trees and more. The glow could be seen from at least a quarter-mile away.

So keep your eyes open and if you see a cool display (must be at a residence), simply send the address of the residence and directions to get there to our Town Guide at townguide@springfordonline.com.  We will then take a look and pick a winner at the end of December.

We hope this will be fun for everyone and may the best set of lightblulbs win!

Happy Holidays to all from everyone at Spring-Ford Online!
