    Holiday Lights Contest

My family and I went to see "Deck the Halls" the other night and it sparked the idea to hold a Holiday Lights contest!  In the movie, Buddy, played by Danny Devito, wanted to create the biggest holiday light display in the world, even visible from outer space!  While I doubt anyone in Spring-Ford can match what was done in the movie, let's find out who has the nicest holiday lights display in Spring-Ford!

We will give  $100 as the prize for the best Holiday Lights display in Spring-Ford.  The residence must be in Spring-Ford and the prize will be split with half going to the person who discovers the winning residence and half to the owner of the residence.  If you own the residence you enter then of course you would take it all.

This contest starts today and will run until the end of the month.  The winner will be announced on our website New Years Day!

So keep your eyes open and if you see a cool display (must be at a residence), simply send the address of the residence and directions how to get there to our Town Guide at townguide@springfordonline.com.  We will then take a look and pick a winner at the end of the month.

If we should get the same address from two different entries, then the person who sent it in first will win, if that residence was picked as the winner.  The exception would be if the person sending in the entry was also the resident, then this person would be the winner in any case.

We hope this will be fun for everyone and may the best set of lightblulbs win!

Happy Holidays to all from everyone at Spring-Ford Online!
