    Science in the Summer

    Budding scientists will have the opportunity to explore the world of chemistry this summer during the 2006 Science in the Summer program presented by GlaxoSmithKline and Spring City Public Library.

    The program will be July 24 to 27. Registration continues through May 31. Children must register in person at the Spring City Public Library. Enrollment is limited to 15 students in each session. Participants will be determined in a lottery drawing and will be notified by June 15. Students must attend all four days.

    Level I, for students entering second and third grades, will be offered 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Level II, for students entering fourth, fifth and sixth grades, will be 11 a.m. to noon and 2 to 3 p.m.

    The program will be held at Spring City United Methodist Church.
