Royersford Free Public Library will host a Thursday Afternoon Art Studio this summer. The classes, for ages 5 to 18, will be led by a real artist. Ages 5 to 9 will meet at 1 p.m., and ages 10 to 18, 2:15 p.m. Space is limited and preregistration is required.
Classes included June 18, watercolor painting; June 25, polymer clay; July 2, foil tooling; July 9, collage; July 16, hand building with clay; July 23, paints with textures; July 30, printmaking, and Aug. 13, oil pastels.
An end of summer art show, where participants can exhibit their best artwork from the summer programs, will be held Aug. 18 to 25. Space is limited. Preregistration of entries is required by Aug. 10. Registration forms are at the circulation desk.
