Eleven Spring-Ford Intermediate School student artists had their work displayed for the public during a “Gallery Night” reception and exhibit at the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library this spring.
The students’ work was selected by their teachers, Cheryl Kramer and Kate Schneider. Students were given the opportunity to attend a formal reception at the library and view work from other school districts from throughout Montgomery County.
“Though we make every effort to display the creative talents of our students by decorating our school with student art work, it’s not often that the community has a chance to see what our students are capable of doing,” said Dr. Dennis Booher, assistant principal. “Through ‘Gallery Night,’ our students’ creations will be on display before many people, and we are excited for others to see what our students are learning.’
Students whose work was chosen for the “Gallery Night” display include Elizabeth Kuerschner, Tessa Nykanen, Ellie Camilleri, Beatrice Capone, Jennifer Green, Lauren Fuhrman, Ashley Charlton, Josh Thurston, Jordan Smith, Owen Gulati and Kelly Barber.
