The Upper Providence Township Supervisors meet the first Monday of every month, unless otherwise noted. Meetings in 2010 include Jan. 4, Feb. 1, March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7, Tuesday, July 6, Aug. 2, Tuesday, Sept. 7, Oct. 4, Nov. 1 and Dec. 6.
The supervisors’ work sessions are held the third Monday of each month. For 2010, work sessions will be held Tuesdays, Jan. 19 and Feb. 16, and Mondays, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19, Aug. 16, Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 15 and Dec. 20.
The township’s planning commission will hold regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month and work sessions on the fourth Wednesday. Regular meetings in 2010 will be Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, Aug. 11, Sept. 8, Oct. 13, Nov. 10 and Dec. 8. Work sessions will be Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 24, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, Aug. 25, Sept. 22, Oct. 27 and Dec. 22.
The parks and recreation board meets the third Wednesday, including Jan. 20, Feb. 17, March 17, April 21, May 19, June 16, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, Oct. 20 and Nov. 17.
The fire and emergency services board meets the first Wednesday, including Jan. 6, Feb. 3, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1.
The board of auditors will hold a reorganization meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
The municipal authority will meet quarterly at 7:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday. Meetings will be Jan. 26, April 20, July 20 and Oct. 19.
The supervisors’ staff meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. at the township administration building, 1286 Black Rock Road. Meetings in 2010 will be Jan. 20, Feb. 17, March 17, April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 15.
All other meetings begin at 7 p.m.
All township meetings are open to the public and are held at the Upper Providence Township Hall, 1301 Black Rock Road, unless noted otherwise.
