The Montgomery County Health Department will sponsor car seat check-up clinics on the third Friday of every month, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Limerick Fire Co., 390 W. Ridge Pike.
In an effort to decease car seat misuse, MCHD will offer free help for parents and caregivers who have questions about car seat safety and installation.
Appointments are necessary. Call 610-287-5119.
Residents should bring their vehicles, the owner’s manual, car seat and child, if possible. Expectant parents and other caregivers are encouraged to attend.
MCHD recommends never buying car seats from garage or yard sales or any unknown source.
