This movie, Tyler Perry's latest, came out Friday Oct 12.
Until I saw him on Oprah a week or two ago, I couldn't have picked Tyler Perry out of a lineup of two, much less told you a thing about him or his movies. Now I can tell you next to nothing about him, but I saw the movie Why Did I Get Married last night, and I enjoyed it very much.
Apparently it's a "Black" movie. I was hoping that wasn't the case -- that race didn't matter -- but it was educational for me, honestly. Having seen it, it seems to me that movies are both viewed and even made differently by the different "races".
Has anybody seen this? I recommend the movie. Go to it, and then talk about it here.
