    Does anyone know what is going on with the roads on Main and New Street in Spring City?

    The construction and one lane roads have been in effect for awhile.

    word on the street (lol) is they're replacing the water main which has been there since like 1912. I asked a boro guy who was bleeding the hydrant in front of my house a few weeks ago, and that's about what I remember him telling me.

    I saw it started on Main Street and worked its way up to first block of New Street. I knew the borough made improvements going down Main Street (toward the fire co) with the light posts and flowers on the street and was wondering if they were getting ready to make improvements to that section of town as well.

    I just know the way the road has been is not good on your vehicle!

    weezie...are any of the roads in Pa. good on a vehicle? With our mild winters around here, it makes you wonder why the roads, whether they be local streets or highways, corridors and even the turnpike...are so crappy. Maybe our tax dollars are not at work, maybe our tax dollars are not enough or maybe those who are in various roadwork authority just aren't doing their job.
