Since I came back to God, I attended church regularly, sometimes religiously depending on the church. I am looking for a church close to home that really worships God where the people and pastors are not afraid of allowing the movement of the Holy Spirit. I found one such model in Telford at the Telford Community Church led by Pastor Kurt Malizzi. Sometimes I attend there, but I'd rather go to a church closer to home if one would just immulate the TCC model's worship services.
I've been all around the area and have attended many churches and I'm hungry for that kind of church to arise in this area. I hope I do not upset area pastors with this post, it's not my intention. I wish for all the churches to do well and have a great ministry. Jesus Christ is Lord and King and should be celebrated as such and as I understand the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit should be allowed into people's hearts and lives also.

Lately, I only attend a weekly home group for Bible study and fellowship, but I get a lot out of it.
I have been checking around the area and attending new churches sometimes with a bit of reluctance cause it's not easy to walk into an unknown church not knowing anyone. Sometimes people say hello, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the people raise their hands to worship and sometimes they don't.
Sometimes the congregation participates and other times they act like they don't want to be there.
Someone should always greet new visitors at church and also follow up on their visit by calling them and the pastor should make it a point to meet and greet them too.
Pastors should always give the invitation of accepting Christ into your life also. It's important.
Christians shouldn't be judgemental about another persons attire/dress. It's rude, it's wrong.
And if you're going to call yourself a Christian, then sing along to the worship songs. It's not about you after all, it's about HIM. Clap your hands and shout praises with hands outstretched cause that's the way they'll be doing it in Heaven. ON earth as it is in Heaven.

The time is near, He'll soon be here.

I think the home church is a great way to go. Are you interested in starting one?
