Hello,
I am writing to let you know a little about The group the Spring City Revitalization Fund and how you can get involved to help our community maintain and improve on its assets. We are a group of Spring City and surrounding area residents and/or business owners who want to actively improve our community through community volunteer projects. Some of our projects have included: flower baskets on Main Street, Market and Music Festivals, Spring City Living flyer, Bridge flags (divided responsibility with Royersford), work together with Parks and Recreation, Scouts, Liberty, and other community groups to provide the Tree Lighting, and Easter Egg Hunt.
WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS!!!!
As all groups need manpower, we need volunteers to help with these projects (1hr to as many as you wish!!!)
One area that we really could use some extra help with is watering the flowers. We have 4 volunteers who have watered the flowers throughout the past summers and are committed indefinitely, however, some extra help would be greatly appreciated.
If you are interested in finding out more info. Please contact me or post on this site - Thank you!!!!
Take care
Julie McFarlane **WE MEET THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 7:30 AT THE SPRING CITY HOTEL-PLEASE COME JOIN US- WE WILL BE THRILLED TO HAVE NEW MEMBERS TO OUR TEAM!!!

It would be nice if Spring City borough would clean up the snow off the side of the roads so people can pull further off the roads especially on Main St and New St.They also need to push the snow back further on Main and Bridge St near Turkey Hill. You can't even get into the right hand lane to head on Bridge Street because of the hugh snow mound. I passed a truck today plowing the snow from the side of the road on Main St in Royersford. Why can't Spring City do the same?

Yes, every winter it seems like snow removal becomes a "hot" topic- go figure. Following our 2 little storms there have been so many issues that businesses residents and visitors have mentioned. I think the best thing that can be done is to let the borough council of Spring City know your concerns. They meet the 1st Monday of every month at 7:30 at the Spring City Borough Hall at the corner of Church and Hall Streets. They make the decisions about how tax dollars are spent and the way things like snow removal take place. They have an open question/concern time during each meeting and the public are encouraged to participate, attend meetings and overall to be involved in local gov. issues. I haven't been there very recently (shame on me), but during the meetings that I have attended I have noticed that the council members have been very open to suggestions and concerns. Julie
